Packaging

Glossmetics is a consumer brand specializing in self-care tools.

As an in-house designer, I was tasked to rejuvenate this brand's packaging while still utilizing the the older logo (not pictured, but think cheesy bold serif typeface). While that seems simple enough, the logo just didn't align with their mission to tap into the Gen-Z market.

Instead of pitching just packaging designs, I pitched a new logo, a different way of approaching the copy and supporting iconography. In tandem with internal revisions, I ran online user-testing against our former packaging and subsequently competitors on the market, to arrive at this solution.

Glossmetics can be found online and physical retailers across North America (ex. Wal-Mart Canada).

Vitamin Bounty is a wellness brand focusing on immune system boosting supplements.

As an in-house designer, I took formerly dense packaging designs typical in the supplement industry, and simplified the consumer experience. The design approach was to take signature colours from the main ingredients to create a pastel colour scheme and continue to build on our friendly iconography.

The colours in these images are leaning slightly bright. All packaging was test-printed and checked for legibility.
